1. No Task Is Visible Until Money Is Secured
One of the biggest risks for assistants is doing the work and not getting paid. We’ve heard the stories: an assistant buys building materials with their own money, submits photos, only to find the client unresponsive. Or a diasporan demands endless changes before vanishing.
At KonnectHome, this can’t happen.
We require every diasporan (or “Borga”) to pledge and deposit funds upfront before their task becomes visible in the marketplace. That money is held securely in a vault within the app. Only once the task is completed and approved does the system release the funds to the assistant. This ensures that:
- Diasporans can’t post tasks without committing funds
- Assistants never start work without financial protection
- Everyone operates in a system of mutual accountability
2. Fair Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises—say the diasporan doesn’t confirm completion, or there's a disagreement about the outcome—our system provides a dispute resolution process.
Assistants can submit proof (photos, receipts, communication logs), and our team steps in to mediate. The goal is not just fairness, but transparency for both sides.
3. Ratings and Recognition
Every assistant gets rated after completing a task. This builds a personal reputation on the platform and opens the door to more opportunities. High-performing assistants may even qualify for longer-term engagements, mentorship, and other benefits in our ecosystem.
4. No Unpaid Trials or Private Deals
Assistants can rest assured: no one can use them outside the system. All communications and task progress happen within the app. There are no private offers, no “try this first and I’ll pay later” deals, and no manipulative promises.
