Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued. By using our platform, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Pledge and Payment Process

  1. Borgas are required to pledge a generous amount when creating a task. This amount is deposited into the app's escrow system to ensure accountability and protection for the Assistant.
  2. Funds will only be released to the Assistant upon confirmation from the Borga that the task has been successfully completed.

Requesting a Refund

A Borga may request a refund under the following circumstances:

  • The Assistant did not complete the task as agreed.
  • The Assistant failed to provide evidence of task completion.

Refund Process in Conflict Scenarios

  1. In cases of disputes where the Borga and Assistant disagree about task completion, konnectHome will intervene to mediate and determine the appropriate resolution.
  2. If an Assistant has incurred costs in attempting to complete the task, konnectHome may deduct a percentage of the pledge to cover these costs before issuing a refund to the Borga.
  3. If no significant cost has been incurred by the Assistant, 90% of the pledge will be refunded to the Borga. The remaining 10% will be retained to cover transactional and administrative fees.

Eligibility for Refund

Refunds will only be considered under the following conditions:

  1. The task was not completed or was completed unsatisfactorily.
  2. The Borga submits the refund request through the app before approving the release of funds.
  3. Once a task is accepted, both parties are bound to adhere to the agreed-upon terms.
  4. The Assistant fails to provide verifiable evidence of task completion.

Resolution Timeline

  1. Refund requests will be reviewed and resolved within 14 business days of submission.
  2. konnectHome reserves the right to request additional documentation or evidence from both parties to assess the situation accurately.
  3. Communications between Borgia and the Assistants are expected to occur within the app chats. Any screenshots of communications outside the app won't be considered viable evidence.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  1. The Borga has approved the release of funds to the Assistant.
  2. The dispute is resolved in favor of the Assistant, and konnectHome determines that the task was completed satisfactorily.

Bank Transactional Fees

All refunds will be subject to a 10% deduction to cover bank transactional and administrative costs, except in cases where the Assistant is found solely at fault and no costs have been incurred.

Final_Decision

konnectHome's decision regarding refunds and dispute resolution is final and binding.
